"Yanaka" is from scented book "Tokyo Extraction"
Yanaka area increasingly faces the threat of over-tourism, and foreign tourists throng the street of Yanaka Ginza. It’s impossible to blame
anyone for wanting to visit, however, as this area is full of charm: age-defying old houses, sweetly tended street gardens, and senbei shops that have stayed in business for generations. Though less frequent these days, the area is also know to be the home of many cats. The cherry blossoms of nearby Yanaka Cemetery, and Azaleas of nearby Nezu Shrine appear in my image, along with street scenes and the famous staircase of Yanaka Ginza.
